So Rare’s Progeny
The success of a stallion is measured by the achievements of his progeny thus So Rare's progeny are creating his legacy. We are extremely proud to own this stallion and very excited about the success, trainability, temperament and movement of his “babies.”

H Randevu

H Randevu is So Rare’s first foal. He was bred and is owned by Valerie Sivertson of Ohop Valley Hungarian Horse Farm. Randevu is a large, elegant chestnut colt, who was started under saddle in 2004. He already has an illustrious show record. He is first in the nation in DSHB Materiale 3 year old Colts and geldings with a median score of 79.5% and ranked third in the nation in hand with a median score of 80%. Randevu won the USDF Region 6 Colt Championships in 2002 and 2004 and was ranked #1 by earning the USDF All-Breeds Award for Hungarian 3 year old colts with a median score of 79.70. From 2001 to 2004, he was the Northwest Sport Horse Breeders Association Dressage-Type “Horse of the Year” for his age group. In 2002, he won the Portland Series High Point In Hand Junior Horse. He has an unbeatable walk, expressive trot, outstanding conformation, and a good disposition.

HS Rare Charm

HS Rare Charm is our home bred pride and joy. Sired by HS So Rare, as a 4 week old filly at the Northwest’s premier breeding show - Beaujolais, she won her weanling class. As if that was not enough, she went on to become Reserve Champion Filly AND Champion Young Horse of the show. An unbelievable feat for a baby! She ended the year 2003 as NWSHBA Reserve Champion Filly and repeated that performance in 2004. In addition, she was awarded the USDF ranking of #1 in the USDF All Breeds Awards for Champion Hungarian Yearling Filly in 2004. We expect “Charm” to replace her dam H Liberty Bajos in our broodmare band.

H Szovaljo “Sam”

Owned by our trainer Allison Allbaugh (and her partner Nicholas Cino) of Majestic Sport Horse Training, Sam continues to shows the winning confirmation, consistency and trainability of So Rare’s foals. Sam (a 2005 stallion) is so well mannered at home and at shows that people are constantly surprised to find out that he is a stallion and not a gelding.
Sam showed “his stuff” completing a very successful 2007 show season. As a 2 year old stallion, he was named USA Champion 3 year old and under Hungarian Colt by the Hungarian Horse Association. He also won the USDF Award for Champion Hungarian 2 year old Colt. Sam’s winning year was capped by being named the NWSHBA Reserve Champion Dressage 2 year old Colt
Sam started out his 2008 show season with a bang by winning first place in the 3 yr old Colts/Geldings class with a 78.7% score at the Fort Vancouver Dressage In-Hand Show. He then went on to become the High Point Hungarian for that show. Sam continued his winning ways at the 2008 Beaujolais Dressage Show, again being awarded the first place 3 yr old Colt/Gelding.

HS Szobrasz

Sired by HS So Rare and out of the Hungarian Mare – H Valahara. Szobrasz is a large, elegant, athletic 2003 bay stallion prospect. He was bred and is owned by Valerie Sivertson of Ohop Valley Hungarian Horse Farm. He has excellent movement and a great disposition. In 2004, he ended the year as the USDF All Breeds Awards as Dressage Yearling Hungarian Colt Champion with a median score of 75.30. HS Szobrasz is offered for sale. H Poesia

This black 2004 Hungarian mare is gorgeous and consistent in her on-the line show winnings. During the 2006 and 2007 show seasons, she was shown In-Hand very successfully by Jessica Wisdom. Poesia was awarded the 1st Place USDF All Breeds Award for 2 year and then 3 year old Hungarian fillies. She also finished in the Top 3 in the NWSHBA Dressage 2 year filly category for both 2006 and 2007. Poesia's 2006 and 2007 show seasons culminated with her being named the Highest Scoring 3 and under Hungarian filly in the US by the Hungarian Horse Association of America.

H Eva Perone

Also under the adept hand of Jessica Wisdom, this lovely black 2003 Hungarian filly was shown to the USDF All Breeds Award Champion in the yearling Hungarian filly category and the 3 and under High Point Hungarian Champion at the Breeder's Classic Championship show. H Eva Perone was also named the NWSHBA 2006 Champion Hunter yearling filly and USEF #2 Hunter Breeding yearling. This multi-talented filly also placed in the NWSHBA Dressage category's Top 5 yearling fillies.
